It was not used in production but was in the tool room of Scovil Corporation, helping make dies and tooling for their high-precision metal button, rivet and snap (high-end clothing) business before they shipped all production to China (that didn't work out well for them either; quality suffered!). Machineco was fortunate enough to buy the entire precision tool heat-treatment and finish-grinding rooms.
