200 HP floor-mounted, horizontal electric wood chipper / waferizer / shredder, ideal for shredding wood lengths, logs, etc.

This unit was used only in a wood products laboratory experimental operation, so it seems very little used. It was outside for a bit, so it is a bit rusty on some exposed parts. We warrant the motor to be in good condition, and also the bearings.

Specifications

• Power: 200 HP electric motor, 3 phase, 60Hz
• Max. log diameter: Up to ~14 in., any length
• Entry opening: Accepts up to 12"± soft or hardwood logs
• Output: 2" chips
• Weight: 9000 lb. (est.)

Features

• Makes wood shredding into wafers and chips very fast and easy (think "200 HP pencil sharpener") ;-)
• Electric drive: much greener and cheaper than any diesel or fossil fuel engine

Notes

This unit was designed, built and used in the wood products laboratories of paper giant "Domtar". It saw little use; the laboratory was closed down, so we bought it. It's repainted.

We are selling this for a fraction of the new replacement cost (probably over $100,000).

Price (in warranted working condition): was $9,500 USD ex-factory, reduced, now only $8,500 USD. All offers carefully considered.

P.S. We can load and ship this at very reasonable cost to you (our own trucks travel in ON, QC and NB, or via load brokers across North America).
