Varnamo FU-3 horizontal and vertical milling machine with quill and motorized overarm, ex-government.

This beautifully designed, top-quality European milling machine has a complete frame-mounted control panel. The vertical head is equipped with a quill for both manual and fine screw-down feed (unusual)!

As an ex-prison training program machine from Kingston, ON (program cancelled), we suspect it saw little use. It appears to have little use or wear. We feel the tables, slideways, bed, etc. are in good condition, with no need to re-scrape or grind the ways.

Notes

The joystick handle on the lower left side of the knee is no longer in its protective rubber bellows. We are missing the table spindle feed handle, which can be used on either end.

We have not run this machine, and it sat about 3 years doing nothing, but this should not have hurt it.
(We guess this is under 15% of new price! And it's at least 60% of a new machine.)
