This turret punch seems to work well and shows no sign of cracks or welds. With the top guard lifted, the gear teeth are complete and well formed with no chips, and the 12-position turret rotates smoothly and accurately. Of course, punches are consumables in punching machines; you can even make your own with a lathe and some tool steel, then torch heat and harden them.
